Domanda Plants, Trees, Animals .. resetting after Region Restart

Just wondering if anyone else has had an issue where:

Fields & trees completely reset after region restart .. they are fresh as if straight from your inventory.

Animals .. Baby animals reset back to 0 days old, eggs reset back to 0% incubating

We are making a large farm on a 5x5 region.

Would love some help with this issue.

If you restore from an OAR that would happen, but just stopping and starting a region shouldn't cause things to reset. Do you know if any maintenance is being done between the shutdown and restart?

Hi Buzzy, no there is no maintenance done when restarting the Region.  

Not sure why it is happening.  I deleted the broken fields and copied over the one that were working then restarted.  Only a few were reset and none of the trees were.  Not sure what to do about the animals .......

I do recall one of the opensim developers saying that you should always shut down then start up rather than using 'restart' command as that was problematic, so may be that if you are using restart.

Other than that, I know you can type 'backup' into the opensim console to force it to update the database, so could be worth trying that before shutting down the region. That said, the Quintonia regions use an automated system and that just shuts them down then starts them back up.
