Got the "store" up at Kaze and you can get the Yasai Garden there. I am working on building objects that I have personally built as well -- like the Japanese-style fence. I am also learning how to use Blender ( i just downloaded it tonight) to make the object more region-friendly (LI vs. Prim) and will put them up soon.
The Konsai Garden is coming along well (it's in it's 2nd phase) and I should have some news about it soon! (see the picture for updated image)
Storage is coming slowly but should be ready for alpha-testing by April 14, 2025.
I am looking at 9 new gardens and a series of Fields for the Japanese set. After that, adding recipes to the original VivoSim devices (stoves, ovens, etc.) and then onto Japanese-style devices for the set up of farm and villages.
The goal is as follows:
➔ Japanese Foods & Drinks
➔ Japanese sewing & fiber crops with the ability to make yukatas, tatami, futons, etc.
➔ addition to the Smithy to make Kintsugi and jewelry
➔ addition of bamboo (& other trees) and the ability to make geta, tableware, decor, furniture,
buildings, tools etc.

Okay, so I ran into RL issues and was having issues updating so here we go!
Was having issues with New Plant images and decided to use AI to render all my Yasai field plant as "new" plants. I have added the new images to the plants and have them growing now. Here is the first render of them. They look so much better!
NOTE:
I have released the Japanese Yasai Garden for testing. If can be found at Kaze No Sato's market.
DESCRIPTION
The Japanese Yasai is a small garden that grows 11 Japanese vegetables for preparing Japanese dishes. I have researched recipes and preparation so the dishes are as close to the actual dish in real life. Some of the textures of the vegetables are still a work in progress.
ADDITIONAL
The following vegetables have been added for Japanese cuisine
➔ Hakusai (Chinese Cabbage)
➔ Horenso (spinach)
➔ Komatsuna (Japanese mustard spinach)
➔ Kyabetsu (cabbage)
➔ Kyuri (cucumber)
➔ Mizuna (Japanese mustard)
➔ Naganegi (leek)
➔ Nasu (aubergine)
➔ Negi (green onion)
➔ Shiso (perilla)
➔ Tomato (Japanese black tomato)
TECHNICAL
To change the original "garden" requires some work with the config file and the scripts. Here is a list of changes:
➔ Short names of vegetables have been added and deleted.
➔ Full names of vegetables have been added and deleted
➔ Autoreplant has been activated
➔ Auto Water mode has been changed from "sprinkler" to "water tower" for use of the small pumps
SCRIPTS
Scripts have been copied from various Vivosim plants with similar uses for Vivosim such as:
➔ config: various vegetables and herbs
➔ setpin: various vegetables and herbs
➔ sounds: pour rice, sniffing
TEXTURES & PLANTS
Names of the textures and objects have been changed to Japanese names with are also in new recipes.

I am now streamlining my farm and updating items, adding recipes, etc. to fit the Japanese theme. The scripts remain the same (except a few tweaks here and there) so they will work with the rest of the system. I will be giving away my items at the marketplace on Kaze no Sato if anyone is interested. They come recipes, ingredients, new names, etc. to fit the Japanese themes. I will be creating new crops, animals, etc as i go. I am doing testing on a few that are in creation now so they should give you any problem. Here's a couple of photos to give you an idea. Show more
